Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actor and model. Her birth date was 11th November, 1966. She made her debut in a feature film with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to play anti-Nazi archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan was in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody began modelling after being invited by a professional photographer. This led to a successful career as a commercial model. Doody strictly avoided glamour, nudity and thongs when she was modeling. Once she caught the attention of the director of casting in the upcoming James Bond movie, she participated in A View to a Kill in the role of Jenny Flex. Doody was listed as one of 12 Promising New Actors of 1986 by John Willis Screen World, Volume. 38. Doody was still only 18 when she made her first appearance in the Bond role. To date Doody is considered to be the youngest Bond girl. in 1987 Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she played IRA member Siobhan Doovan. Doody played Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 TV version of The Secret Garden. She also played Lilias. The Storyteller episode from 1988 featured her in the lead character in the film Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She also starred alongside Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most recognizable part to date was that of Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The film also starred Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody was a part of three actors that have played James Bond. Doody starred alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries, a British mini-series inspired by Hitler Diaries. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. Chosen to replace Cybill Shepherd as the spokeswoman of L'Oreal she went on to play opposite Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II as Flannery his agent and girlfriend. Doody was part of the 2002 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony for an award. She starred along together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version of King Solomon's Mines. Doody was cast in Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). Then, she appeared in RTE's medical thriller The Clinic. She was scheduled to also play the lead role in an adaptation in 2011 of the classic horror film The Asphyx. However, that project eventually stalled. She began her first two seasons on The E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. In 2014 she starred in We Still Kill the Old Way.
